Most traders are interested in trading, but find one of two problems prevent them from taking part in the market.  Some traders don’t know where to start sifting through the desert of technical indicators, or how to find which ones work together well.  On the other hand, some traders find that they have a good formulated plan for trading, but their personal involvement in the market causes them to make irrational mistakes because of heightened emotions.

With over 13 years of industry experience, Michael Esposito has been a system trading specialist since 1999, establishing and building the system’s division for Zap Futures, the famous pioneer of electronic trading.  Michael has not only personally worked with many of the pioneers of system trading throughout the years, but has also helped many of them back test, develop, and improve many of the systems that you would recognize by name.  With over a decade of executing even the most complicated orders, Michael is also adept in block orders and professional execution.  Continually developing new and improving existing system vendor relationships, Michael has the ability to recommend ideas for a system, or develop a basket of systems to diversify their portfolio and smooth out their equity curve.  Whether interested in systems, broker assisted trading, or simply clean fast execution,  Michael has the experience and ability you need.

Trading systems that trade on a variety of platforms and styles such as day trading, position trading, swing trading, trend following, or counter trend following.  Also, to develop baskets of different complimentary styles to smooth out the trader’s equity curve.

Risk / Money Management View

Most trading losses are caused by, or at least made worse by the trader’s emotions of greed, or fear of loss.  With systems trading, the emotion is taken out of the trade, and a clearly defined profit or loss objective is adhered to without the trader, himself causing more damage.

Technical and/or Fundamental Focus

When developing a basket, or portfolio of trading programs, it is important to keep in mind that the systems should not replicate, or simply contradict each other.  A portfolio of systems should complement each other without simply doubling up what the other systems are doing.  It is easier to simply add contracts to an existing system to do that.  Different types of trading systems at different levels of trading and activity are important in a truly diversified portfolio.
